Christmas Cookies

We decorated Christmas cookies this year with my family. My Dad was a pro. Miley Kate really liked eating the chocolate and candy more then decorating the cookies.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

Over Thanksgiving we went away for the weekend with the Hobnecks. The girls had a wonderful time playing. We had a hug bubble fight. The girls were hilarious. Miley loved the bubbles.

Miley's favorite toy!

My Mom gave Miley this bus, and it is her absolute favorite thing to play with. When I get Miley up from her nap, she is jumping in her crib screaming "bus". This is a video of Miley, Michael, and her cousin Briley playing in the bus tent over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Halloween Update

We had a blast this halloween. We went to the pumpkin patch the weekend before. Miley and I road together on the cow train. It was actually a little bumpy. I was scared Miley would fly out. I had to hold on to her tightly. Then my Mom brought Miley to my class the Friday before halloween. On Saturday, Michael, Miley, and I went to Nick and Marcie's. We had such a good time. Miley was a monkey. She has this monkey stuffed animal that she carries around everywhere. The monkey does everything with her.

We have been having a little difficulty with our external hard drive and all the photos we have saved on it. Also, my parents gave me my Christmas present a little early.

Miley is finally talking. She went through a little bit of a quiet stage. She would shake her head and motion for things, but all of the sudden she is talking up a storm. She loves saying her animal sounds, and I just started teaching her the ABCs.

No, we have not disappeared. I started working on my masters again, and with school, work, and the never ending house projects, we have been busy. Miley Kate is a hoot! Pictures will be coming soon! Michael promised!
