My little Declan at bedtime. Why does he not look sleepy at all?
To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of bed time. Miley is notorious for dragging it out. She has always wanted one more song or one more scratch back or water. Then, I have to be stern about the fact that it is bed time. Declan is not much different. He always says that his tummy needs to sleep with Mom and Dad or his head needs to sleep with Mom or Dad.
I also always feel rushed at bed time because I have a million things looming over me that I need to get done once I leave the room. I am trying to love bed time. I am trying to focus on listening and loving my sweet kiddos at bedtime.
This is Miley right before bed. She always insists on putting her dolls to bed right as I am trying to put her to bed.
