Mom stage

Miley Kate is definitely in a "Mom" stage. Whenever she is hungry, upset, sad, tired, or frustrated she wants me to hold her. Miley Kate loves to play with her Dad and laugh with her Dad, but she wants Mom for everything else. I was looking through our recent photos, and I thought this one says it all. This is Maggie and Miley Kate playing under the kitchen table.

Fun Photo!

Miley loves climbing under the table. Right now Miley Kate is into everything. She loves closing doors which include the kitchen cabinet doors, the refrigerator door, and any other door in the house. She loves climbing under things which includes Maggie, the dog. I thought we babyproofed the house pretty well, but I was wrong. Yesterday, she pushed over a fall scarecrow, pulled the air freshner out from the light socket, and was taking it apart right when I caught her.

Animals of Halloween

This post is a little delayed because we took pictures of Miley in her costume outside, and I wanted to post them with these Halloween evening shots, but Michael wants to photo shop them first. Oh well...We had a great Halloween. We trick or treated for hugs and kisses at the Grandparent's and Aunt GiGi's (I can't remember what we decided to call Angela). Then we went to the Nitsch's. Everyone dressed up. Michael was Locke. I was Kate, and Miley was the polar bear from Lost. We had such a good time with everyone. Our little polar bear

So this was our attempt at a group baby photo, but Miley kept crawling away, Hudson didn't feel good, and Braeden was tired of his costume.

A born shopper!

Lately, Miley loves for you to hold her hands and walk her around the house. When I try to sit her down on the ground, she will lock her legs and whine. My Mom and I saw this shopping cart at Kmart, and it is the perfect solution. She is still wobbly , but she loves to walk around on her own.

A Lou Fall Family Weekend

Laura Lou came home this past weekend. She has been at Elmhurst, and we haven't seen her since mid August. On Saturday, Laura, her friend (Susan), Kneff, my Mom, my Dad, Michael, Miley, and I went to the Bottom View Pumpkin Patch.

Disclaimer: We will not be returning to the Bottom View Pumpkin Patch. We had fun, but everything was very old and dirty. There was not a good atmosphere, and the store was more of a snack shop. I would not recommend it.

Saturday night we had dinner together, and we had a bonfire.

It was so good seeing Laura, and we can't wait to see her and Jonny at Thanksgiving.
